PROP 39 SEASON WILL START NOVEMBER 1ST!

Colocation Inequities

Prop 39 has a strict timeline, here are the important dates:

  • November 1: Charter School submits a request for space, identifying the number of Oakland students and where they want to be located
  • February 1: OUSD makes a “preliminary offer” of space to each charter school
  • April 1: OUSD makes a “final offer” of space to each charter school
  • May 1: Charter school must accept the final offer of space by this date
